Here you will find schedules for up coming shows, results from past shows and a contact area for any questions or suggestions you may have for the Committee. Also check a few days before a show for an on-line version of the programme, including your Show Hunter ID number. There may also be alterations or amendments to times or classes.
SHOW JUMPING CANTERBURY AGM:
Show Jumping Canterbury AGM will be held on Tuesday 10th May at McLeans Island. Nibbles from 6pm, then the AGM will commence at 6:30pm, followed by an ordinary meeting afterwards. We welcome and encourage EVERYONE to come along! Come to meet the committee, find out what it takes to make our sport happen and to have a say in any issues that will be discussed. We look forward to seeing you there.
NOTE: We are no longer accepting entries from people who turn up un-entered on the day. Emailed entries before 9.30pm the night before the show are OK provided registrations/memberships are up to date (if required). Late fees (+50%) will be applied to anyone who misses the catalogue - NO EXCEPTIONS. ALL riders now need to be a member of ESNZ - either a full member or a free Community Membership for those doing Introductory classes. This is now up and running and a requirement of entry from Jan 1st onward.

Introductory/Training Classes (80cm & below) - to enter these classes at a show you will need to be a community member, pay the $5 per horse or pony SJ/SH Levy and the class entry fees - plus ground fees, admin etc
ID Numbers are no longer being used nationally, but at Canterbury shows, Show Hunter will still use a three digit ID number for the judge to identify horses (rather than names). For Show Jumping there will be no ID or Back numbers. ID number holders are available from saddleries for around $6-7, they are attached to your saddle or breastplate.
ESNZ Jumping Information Booklet
A new Jumping information booklet has been constructed to provide basic information on the Jumping discipline to competitors just starting out or not currently involved in ESNZ Jumping.
The booklet is free from the ESNZ shop and is available to anyone.
